EVENT TYPES​

DIT Karting Championship
This is our fourth year running the DIT Karting Championship. Entry to the championship is free and open to any member of DIT Karting Club. There will be 10 rounds in this year's championship, with points being awarded for each round.

Irish Intervarsities
Every year we compete in the SSI Karting Championship Intervarsities. There are 4 rounds spread across the year exclusively on outdoor tracks. We have been very successful in previous years, topping the Team Championship for 3 years!
John Hanrahan Memorial Cup
Every year, DIT Karting Club hosts its most anticipated and important event; the John Hanrahan Memorial Cup. This Cup is dedicated to the memory of its namesake: John Hanrahan, a former DIT student and member of DIT Karting Club. See more...   
Endurance Events
In 2011, we experienced competing in the British 24hr race in Teesside Autodrome, which led us to the idea of organising some endurance races of our own. This idea was a huge success and we have held many of these events since. See more...
